Kryštof Koska is a Czech conductor and hornist. He acquired the basics of conducting while studying at the Brno Conservatory with Stanislav Kummer, and continues to systematically educate himself through private lessons with leading Czech conductors.
He gained significant professional experience as a conductor of the Police Symphony Orchestra. In the spring of 2024, he conducted compositions by Jan Klusák on the occasion of his 90th birthday, and in 2025, compositions by Vladimír Franz, both in collaboration with PKF – Prague Philharmonia. In 2025, he became the winner of the main category of the conductor's competition organized by the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra and, together with the KSO, presented himself as part of the subscription cycle in January 2026, where he gave the world premiere of Lukáš Sommer's Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, performed by clarinetist Anna Paulová, and Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 1.
In April 2026, he will perform as an assistant conductor to Petr Popelka at his final concert with the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra as chief conductor.

As a horn player, he has achieved numerous competitive successes: he is the laureate of the 2nd prize of the Žestě Brno competition, the 1st prize and absolute winner of the Pardubice dechy competition, and also the absolute winner of the Teplice Conservatory Competition. He has repeatedly participated in the Prague Spring International Music Festival and the International Competition in Markneukirchen. Kryštof is a graduate of the Prague Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts under the pedagogical guidance of Ondřej Vrabec and Jan Vobořil. In 2023–2024, he completed a study internship at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen with hornist Přemysl Vojta.

As a horn player, he has held the position of solo hornist at the National Theatre in Prague since 2020 and is currently also an external player in the Czech Philharmonic.

Kryštof is a member of the prestigious Czech wind ensemble Alinde Quintet, with which he won 1st prize at the ARD Wettbewerb Münich competition (2024), 3rd prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition (2023) and other awards, including the Czech Chamber Music Association Award. The Alinde Quintet ensemble is a regular guest on domestic and international concert stages. At the end of 2025, the ensemble presented its debut album for the Supraphon label with music by P. Haas, D. Shostakovich, P. Vasks, etc.

In addition to performing, he also arranges, mainly for the Alinde Quintet ensemble (Biblical Songs by Antonín Dvořák, etc.).
